The 10x42 BX-1 McKenzie Binoculars from Leupold feature phase-corrected BAK4 roof prisms and anti-reflection fully multi-coated optics that work together to produce a versatile and capable optic with bright and clear high-contrast images and accurate color rendition. Coupled with the optical features are 42mm diameter objectives that boost its light-gathering ability without the bulk and weight of larger models for easy use in challenging conditions such as the early morning and late evening. The combination of optics and objectives make the McKenzie ideally suited for most long-range needs and outdoor activities from hunting to birding to sporting events.

Complementing the optical performance are construction details that make these binoculars durable and comfortable to use. The lightweight and durable aluminum alloy chassis is protected by a gray rubberized armor that is textured for a non-slip grip. The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be waterproof and resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme changes in temperatures or environmental conditions. A right-eye diopter adjustment and twist-up eyecups allow the binoculars to be customized to most people's needs and can be comfortably used with or without eyewear. For long-term glassing the McKenzie is tripod mountable with an optional adapter.

Features:

- BAK4 prisms deliver a round exit pupil and a crisp and clear image with limited edge distortion
- Phase-corrected prism coatings reduce internal interference to improve contrast clarity and resolution
- Anti-reflection fully multi-coated lenses maximize light transmission for bright and clear images with accurate color rendition
- Apparent angle of view approaches wide angle to minimize the appearance of distracting hand shake that is common when holding high-power optics
- Closed bridge configuration offers a stable platform for the internal focusing mechanism
- Large center focus wheel is easy to manipulate in cold or wet conditions or when wearing gloves
- Right-eye diopter adjustment enables users to compensate for optical prescription for sharper views
- Twist-up eyecups for comfortable use with or without eyewear
- Tripod mountable with optional adapter for hands-free use to eliminate vibration and arm fatigue
- Lightweight and durable aluminum alloy chassis
- Nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be waterproof and resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme changes in temperature and environmental conditions
- Ergonomically placed textured palm pads provide a non-slip stable and comfortable grip
